Department of Psychology Library

The physical library is still closed, but we are offering the click and collect service in order to provide you with books not available electronically.

If you need a book chapter, you can also consider the Scan and Delivery service

Please observe the Click and Collect rules

  • Users can collect 4 books at one time.
  • The form below will allow a total of 30 submissions weekly.
  • Appointments must be made to collect these books, from Monday to Friday from 9-11:30.
  • You must bring your ID (university card or other photo ID)
  • If you are able to do so, please wear a face-covering when you enter the building and collect your books
  • If collecting a book for someone else, make sure the appointment is under your name (not necessary your CRSID). You will need to bring a copy (can be electronic) of the confirmation email for the appointment with you.

Click and Collect steps

The first step is to visit the IDiscover catalogue and find the item availability on the desired library. Make sure you copy the Permalink of the desired resource (from IDiscover, video available below, OR the Online reading List) and add on the Psychology library form in order to fulfil your request. The Online Reading list also shows availability and the option to copy permalink.

The second step is to fill the online form on this page and wait for the confirmation email (2-3 working days). Once the books are retrieved, you will receive a confirmation email which includes information about how to book an appointment to collect your books. You will not be able to collect the books without an appointment.

The third and last step is to book the collection date, using the link you will receive by email with the confirmation of this request, in order to collect your book(s) with our receptionist.

You can request a maximum of 3 items weekly.

The Psychology Library is accepting 30 click and collect submissions weekly during September,

We fulfil requests on a first come bases. In case the book is not available, we can provide you with a different copy or you will need to request it from a different library. Alternatively, you can request the item to be on hold, on IDiscover, and we will send it when the book is returned.
